Describe Shenique in one word? "FIERCE!"

About Me

Shenique Magazine
Shenique (which stands for She is Unique) is the hottest new magazine to hit the streets because it’s the first of its kind. Shenique Magazine and its accompanying website, www.sheisunique.com, is a creative approach to a serious problem: the fact that girls of African descent are one of the most underrepresented segments of society. It will tackle the negative images that perpetuate a vicious self-fulfilling prophecy while directly involving this consistently underserved, often-overlooked audience. Shenique’s readers also serve as contributing writers to the publication. Many of them are middle and high school girls with a story to share. Shenique gives them a voice. Shenique’s content includes fashion, health, education, current events and entertainment with a mission to celebrate the cultures and lifestyles of girls throughout the Diaspora.
